EPA Lead Based Paint - Regarding Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) -

Effective April 22, 2010, the EPA has new lead based paint rules and regulations regarding renovations, repairs and painting at any pre-1978 property. Contractors MUST be EPA certified to do any work which might disturb the paint. Landlords may not avoid compliance by doing their own repairs.
